Weekends – A Love and Hate Situation!

All week we wait for them. And when they finally arrive, we sometimes don’t know what to do with them. A bucket full of clothes waiting for washing, drying, ironing, and stacking. Preparing clothes for the upcoming week. Doing 10K steps. Pretty much that’s how a weekend looks for an average corporate person who doesn’t have close-by people. Jack and Jill went up the hill, nope. Here it is Jill, going down the hill! It’s Tuesday and you are already waiting for the weekend to arrive, for you are planning to do some fun-loving things on those days, maybe going out to play badminton, going for slow evening walks in the breezy air, having a good meal. All these things would be so meaningful if you had the company of your friends. But apparently, we all are busy in our own ways; it’s just that our wants are not aligning with the people present around us. It’s finally Friday, yay!!! Or nay?? Let’s see how a typical weekend unfolds. Friday evening, the stay you planned with one of your s...

Sharp Curve leads to..?

As a child, I used to wonder how elders are so tolerant of the downsides of life! Let's explore the life, the uncertainties and the emotional cycle that comes along with it, and how one becomes 0.00004% immune to conditions like these. What are uncertainties? They are the truest friend and enemy of our lives, they tell you the sorrow is not going to last, and also warn you that neither happiness can. Since childhood, I have been a very competitive person; if I want something, I will work hard to any extent to get it. When I don't get the expected outcome, it makes me feel belittled. Cut to today, it is still the same. I plan, I wait, and uncertainty comes to my face, reintroduces itself, and makes me better. Being an emotionally driven person, having uncertainty as your best friend is not a combination to yearn for, but then this is life. A commitment that was to be fulfilled, with no warning signals at all, and you planned everything around the completion of that commitment. I...

Take Action.

To the days when you are stuck in vicious cycle of self guilt. It is the major reason for our sadness, we plan to do a lot of things and end up doing nothing. Every wondered why, so? Maybe the thing you have planned to do is not pleasing you enough? Maybe you are not disciplined? Or maybe you do overthinking! The moment you say in your head to do a certain task, it gets noted and when the time comes and you being you, delay it for further time, that is where your self -respect takes a hit and you go into self-guilt. Self guilt takes you to self loathing and then all this is too much to bear. Eventually to relax your mind, you do binge watching or binge eating. Now this self guilt isn't improving us, but hurting us mentally and physically.  Simple thing is keep a piece of paper with you every time, remember a physical note, carry it with you, note down the tasks on it and keep it with you until all tasks mentioned in it are completed. You all must be thinking, we can do it with virt...

23 took Viral Route to 27

Hello,  Even while typing 'Hello' there's a sense of awkwardness because there's a been hell of a time since we all have interacted like this, isn't? Maybe some of you will disagree with me, but ask those who spent around three to four years of their prime age in Covid. The age in which we were destined to grow our skills, to nurture our intellect, to find the love of our lives, to live our breakups, in that age we sat with a mere laptop on our laps making sure the wifi signal doesn't drops, isn't strange?  The age 23, from which onwards I had planned a plethora of things which remained stranded on top of corona virus; instead of hopping to different cities, states, countries, it hopped from one's lung's to other's along with corona virus. At 26 Yrs, I am still contemplating whether it's going to be arrange or love. If a Gen-z would read the line, he/she would surely get baffled, like seriously? But that's how our lives have been, like e...

GRADUATION...THAT'S IT?

Hello guys! Hope you all must be fine. So, today we will talk about the situations a graduation student goes through. At times people think that, graduation is like a cake walk but, you know it’s rarely true because we are the only persons who undergo with so much of stress. A life of a graduate student is in no way less than the life of a cricketer, as a guy playing cricket professionally is deemed to reach at top similarly, we the engineering students are put under the scanner from the moment we enter our final year, everybody who knows you or not will claim it’s right of asking you a question which is “PLACED OR NOT”. Means come on man, this right only belongs to those who have worked hard for us, our parents no-one else but then, you can’t say much, shook your head and move on either with same intensity which you had before answering that question or with disappointment, it depends on you, right? Now, once we have understood some of the key problems we engineers go through...

TRICKY SITUATIONS...?

As the life progress, we meet new people and these new people give us new insights about dealing with situations, circumstances and relations. New people generally accounts for new friends that we make during our school life and college days, at the start of new relation everything seems like happening and joyful but, as time passes we get to know the true nature of the partner with whom we are in a relation be it a friend or life partner. Problem arises when you let other to ruin you from within, and from there the disintegration of mind and soul takes place, and you don’t even realize it. Say there’s a friend of yours with whom you’ve started a business, the idea of business was given by your friend and you both work hard to make your business thrive. You both know your expertize section, and you are happy with your work. But your friend knowingly or unknowingly commands you “do that”, “you’ve not done this”, “I’ll (friend) attend meeting with 3 rd person, you don’t come”, and ...

What do you want from your life?

It is never about good or bad, interesting or uninteresting as you get to know things you get accustomed to things which you thought you could never do, that’s what life teaches you in the whole process of living or maybe you can say playing it. But the point is, have you ever thought for a second that, what is your real aim of living a good life, what would you deliver this world at the end of your journey. Life is like a teacher who teaches new concepts to you, but at the same time it’s emotionless and leaves in situations which are hard to handle, which drain you from within.
